COMMERCIAL BURGLARIES: 4000 block of Saint Germain Drive, 9/12/20, 3:11 a.m. Several businesses to include Lab No. 1 Asian Bistro, Pho Bistro, Bon Chon, Iron Age, Indi Sushi and Hot Pot, and Gogiville Korean BBQ were broken into overnight. Cash was taken from Lab N. 1 Asian Bistro, Bon Chon, Iron Age, Indy Sushi and Hot Pot. Nothing was taken from the other businesses.
VEHICLE PURSUIT: Compton Road at Ordway Drive, 9/13/20, 1:59 a.m. Officers attempted to stop a 2000 Honda CRV for a traffic violation. The driver refused to stop, resulting in a pursuit. The driver, Aya Johnson, 23, of Fairfax, was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license.
VEHICLE PURSUIT: Buckman Rd at Groombridge Way, 9/15/20, 9:56 p.m. An officer attempted to stop a 2008 Ford sedan for a traffic violation. The driver refused to stop resulting in a pursuit. The driver stopped the car and ran away. Officers caught him a short distance away. The driver, Charles Ruffner, 52, of Alexandria was charged with driving without a license, obstruction of justice, and disregarding signal to stop.
VEHICLE PURSUIT: Great Neck Court at Old Mount Vernon Road, 9/13/20, 2:19 a.m. Officers attempted to stop a 2010 Honda Civic for a traffic offense when the driver failed to stop, resulting in a pursuit. The car crashed and Emerson Tuche-Villanueva, 21, of Alexandria, was arrested. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, eluding, possession of schedule I or II narcotic and driving without a license.
ROBBERY: 7500 Richmond Highway (Metro Laundromat), 9/14/20, 1:58 a.m. A man entered the business, displayed a knife, took cash from a customer and ran away. Officers located Michael Johnson, 33, nearby and charged him with robbery and false information to law enforcement.

VEHICLE PURSUIT: Arlington Boulevard at South Manchester Street, 9/13/20, 2:25 a.m. Officers attempted to stop a 2020 Toyota Camry for a traffic offense when the driver failed to stop, resulting in a pursuit. Officers were able to safely stop the car and Carol Diaz-Pinto, 22, of Hyattsville, Maryland, was arrested. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and eluding.
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 5716 Columbia Pike (Dick’s Sporting Goods), 9/14/20, 6:37 p.m. Two women and a man entered the store, put merchandise into a shopping cart and attempted to leave without paying when they were confronted by a store employee. The suspects assaulted the employee and ran away with the merchandise. No injuries were reported.
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 6198 Little River Turnpike (Ross Dress For Less), 9/16/20, 8:36 p.m. A store employee saw three suspects taking multiple items and attempt to leave the store without paying. The employee confronted the suspects who pepper sprayed her, causing minor injuries.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING: 13300 block of Parcher Avenue, 9/12/20, 3:44 p.m. Two male victims reported that they were hanging outside before heading to a sporting event and were confronted by a group of men who stabbed them and ran away. The two victims were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.
VEHICLE PURSUIT/STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY: Richmond Highway at Hassett Street, 9/15/20, 10:30 p.m. An officer attempted to stop a 2019 Honda CRV for a traffic violation when the driver failed to stop, resulting in a pursuit. The driver crashed into a gate nearby. Two juveniles ran from the SUV and were found in the area. Officers determined the vehicle was stolen. One of the juveniles was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving without a license, speed to elude, and driving under the influence of drugs.

MISSILE INTO AN OCCUPIED DWELLING: 3200 block of Orchard Glen Court, 9/15/20, 3 a.m. A homeowner was awakened by a loud noise and found a bullet hole in a front window of their home. Officers located a shell casing in the street. No injuries were reported.
