ROBBERY: Stone Road at Belcher Farm Drive, 10/22/20, 2:30 p.m. A man reported that he was walking on a path when two men approached him from behind, knocked him down and took personal property. The victim reported injuries that were not life threatening
WARRANT SERVICE/ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT: 6100 block of Richmond Highway, 10/19/20, 1 p.m. An officer attempted to arrest a man who had active warrants when he resisted and began to assault the officer. The man ran away and was caught after a short foot pursuit. Abdel Ouardi, 28, of Herndon, was charged with assault on law enforcement, possession of schedule I/II narcotics and obstruction of justice. Ouardi was also served with two outstanding felony warrants. Ouardi and the officer were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life threatening.
ATTEMPTED COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 6817 Richmond Highway (Mobil), 10/21/20, 1:16 a.m. A man entered the store, displayed a gun, and demanded money. An employee refused and was assaulted. The man left in a car without taking anything. The employee reported injuries that were not life threatening.
MISSILE INTO OCCUPIED DWELLING: 8300 block of West Boulevard Drive, 10/21/20, 10:18 p.m. Officers responded for a report of gunshots and found a home damaged. Several shell casings were recovered. No injuries were reported.

STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY: Leesburg Pike at Rock Spring Avenue, 10/20/20, 3:30 p.m. Officers responded after a man saw his 2017 Chevy van that was reported stolen the day before. Officers stopped the van and two juveniles ran away. After a short foot pursuit officers arrested the juveniles and charges are pending.

RECKLESS DISCHARGE: 7600 block of Whitly Way, 10/19/20, 9:49 a.m. Officers responded for a report of gunshots and located a car with several bullet holes. Several shell casings were recovered. No injuries were reported.
WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY: Braddock Road at Port Royal Road, 10/22/20, 9:11 a.m. An officer stopped a 1999 Honda sedan which had been reported stolen. Jeremy Snell, 34, of Alexandria was charged with grand larceny and possession of burglarious tools.
