MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 5900 Richmond Highway (Ourisman Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Alexandria), 4/2/21, 12:17 a.m. Someone forced entry into the business and took property.
RECKLESS DISCHARGE: 7900 block of Kidd Street, 4/2/21, 6:57 p.m. Several people were seen firing a gun before leaving in a car. No injuries or property damage reported.
SHOOTING: 3600 block of Buckman Road, 4/5/2021, 12:30 a.m. A man was involved in an argument with several people when he was shot in the upper body. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Preliminarily, detectives believe those involved are known to each other.
SHOOTING: 7900 block of Janna Lee Avenue, 4/6/21, 9:33 p.m. A man was walking home when he heard gunshots. The man was struck by a bullet in the upper body and was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life threatening. Officers located a vehicle that was also struck by gunfire and cartridge casings on the ground.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 7812 Lee Highway (7 Market), 4/4/2021, 4:37 a.m. Someone forced entry into the business and took property.
ROBBERY: 6000 block of Argyle Drive, 4/5/21, 12:45 a.m. The victim was approached by four men who demanded property, stabbed him in the upper body then ran away. The victim suffered injuries that were not life threatening.
