Man Arrested After Burglarizing Business
Mason Police District – Detectives from our Criminal Investigations Division have arrested a man after he burglarized a local business in Mantua.
On January 13, at 7:12 a.m., officers responded to the 9400 block of Mathy Drive in Mantua for a commercial burglary report. The victim reported that the business was burglarized on January 12 and provided surveillance footage of the event. Officers obtained a description of the suspect and detectives responded to assume the investigation.
At 2:48 p.m., officers responded to the 7200 block of Little River Turnpike in Annandale for a larceny report. The complainant reported that a man entered the business and stole merchandise. Officers located the man outside of the business and took him into custody. Officers recognized Matthew Fisch, 32, of no fixed address, as the suspect involved in the January 12 burglary.

Fisch was charged with Burglary and Petit Larceny. He is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on no bond.
