Update From Health Department Regarding Rabid Cat

The incident involving the cat that tested positive for rabies did not occur in Fairfax County as initially reported by the victim. The Fairfax County Health Department has since learned that the incident occurred in Carroll County, Maryland and as a result authorities there have been notified and will take appropriate actions as necessary, including any public notifications.
