Neighborhood App Helps FCPD Nab Indecent Exposure Suspect

A 50-year-old man is facing several charges today for exposing himself to a jogger. Yesterday we posted the information on Facebook, Twitter and Nextdoor, and asked for the public’s help in identifying the suspect. Update: Man Charged with Unlawful Entry in Connection with Centreville Shooting

Sully District Station – A Chantilly man is facing a charge for unlawful entry.  A preliminary investigation by our Major Crimes Bureau detectives revealed Ethan Redd, 29, of Chantilly, unlawfully entered a residence in the 6300 block of Fairfax National Way in Centreville early yesterday morning. Detectives Investigating Early Morning Shooting in Centreville

Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau are continuing their investigation into a shooting in the 6300 block of Fairfax National Way.  At about 5:00 this morning, we received a call for an attempted burglary after a homeowner saw a man in his backyard.  After confronting the man near the front porch, the homeowner fired several shots, hitting the man twice.
