Bringing Loved Ones Home; Officers Briefed on Project Lifesaver Program as Part of New Mental Health Training

Officers enrolled in this week’s Crisis Intervention team training course received a briefing on the Project Lifesaver program today. Project Lifesaver (administered by the Sheriff’s Office) assists families and caregivers of individuals with autism spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, Alzheimer’s disease and related conditions and disabilities. Project Lifesaver clients wear a wrist or ankle band that emits a silent tracking signal.
