14700 block of Beaumeadow Drive, 2003 GMC
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 6500 block of Backlick Rd. 1/22/16, 9:49 p.m. Officers responded to an alarm at The JW’s and Friends Restaurant. They found that someone had forced their way into the business. The suspect was not located and nothing was reported to have been taken.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 6200 block of Richmond Hwy. 1/24/16, 2:43 a.m. Officers responded to an alarm at the Central Supermarket. Upon arrival, they noticed that the front door glass was broken and there were footprints in the snow, going toward Richmond Highway. A K9 team was summoned. They checked the interior of the business but no one was found. Cigarettes and phone cards were taken.
BURGLARY: 2300 block of Fairview Terrace. 1/26/16, 10:50 p.m. A resident reported that a known suspect entered the residence and assaulted her. Warrants have been obtained for the suspect. The investigation continues.
BURGLARY: 4900 block of Godfrey Ave. 1/22/16, 6:39 p.m. A resident reported that someone entered the residence and took property.

6300 block of South Kings Highway, beer stolen from business
BURGLARY: 2100 block of Haycock Rd. 1/26/16, 6:08 a.m. A resident reported that someone entered the residence and fled when seen by an occupant of the home. A possible suspect has been developed and detectives continue to investigate.
BURGLARY: 6600 block of Orland St. 1/26/16, 1:13 p.m. A resident reported that someone entered the residence but nothing was taken.

BURGLARY: 7100 block of Little River Turnpike. 1/22/16, 11:49 a.m. A complainant reported that someone entered his business and took property.

BLOG POST: Police Unit Breaks Up Prostitution Ring in Reston
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 12100 block of Sunset Hills Rd. 1/23/16, 6:49 p.m. Officers responded to an alarm at the Target Store and found footprints in the snow, leading to an unsecured door, into the building. Target security reported seeing an unidentified person in the store, on their security cameras, so a K9 team was summoned. The team checked the interior of the business but found no one.

9900 block of Georgetown Pike, property stolen from vehicle
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 7200 block of Little River Turnpike. 1/22/16, 9:57 p.m. Officers responded to an alarm at Smoke Time and found an unknown suspect had forced entry and taken property. Footprints in the snow indicated that the suspect fled toward the rear of the business and over a fence.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 6600 block of Backlick Rd. 1/23/16, 2:34 a.m. An alarm was received from the Advanced Auto Parts Store. Responding officers saw the suspect inside the business and called for a K9 team. After the required announcement/warning, the K9 team entered the business and located the suspect. He was uncooperative and resisted being taken into and was subsequently bitten. The suspect, Pedro Francisco Santiago, 41, of Springfield, was then taken into custody and charged with burglary, possession of burglarious tools, obstruction of justice, destruction of property and petit larceny.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
BURGLARY: 4900 block of Americana Dr. 1/26/16, 2:22 a.m. A resident reported that several storage units had been broken into in the basement of the apartment building and an unknown quantity of property had been taken. There are no suspects at this time.
