Detectives Seek Help Identifying Home Burglary Suspects

West Springfield Police District – Detectives from our Criminal Investigations Division are seeking the community’s help in identifying suspects who burglarized homes in Burke and Springfield. On February 25 at 9:26p.m., officers responded to the 9500 block of Burning Branch Road in Burke for a burglary report. The complainant reported that unknown suspects forced entry into their home and stole property.

Roanoke Man Arrested for Chantilly Burglary

Sully Police District— Detectives from our Criminal Investigations Division have arrested a man for burglarizing a Fairfax County facility. On February 26, at 4:39 a.m., officers responded to the 14000 block of Flint Lee Road in Chantilly for a burglary report. The complainant reported to work and noticed signs of forced entry at the facility. Detectives responded to assume the investigation.

Man in Custody After Domestic-Related Homicide in Chantilly

Fair Oaks Police District – An man is in custody after fatally shooting his wife in Chantilly today. On February 28, at 6:09 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 13000 block of Pennypacker Lane in Chantilly. The complaint reported that her father shot her mother. Officers located Marilyn Sommer, 87, of Chantilly suffering from trauma to the upper body.
