Police are investigating a homicide in the Annandale area. On Monday, March 16, around 4:43 p.m., officers responded to a wooded area behind apartments, located in the 4300 block of Ivymount Court, for the report of a body found in a creek. Officers located the body of an adult male with trauma to the upper body. This investigation is ongoing.
